- Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools, and processes across various departments.
- Identify ergonomic hazards and develop tailored solutions to mitigate risks, including workstation adjustments, equipment modifications, and ergonomic training.
- Collaborate with safety, health, and operations teams to implement ergonomic improvements.
- Develop and deliver ergonomic training programs to educate employees on proper workstation setup, posture, and safe work practices.
- Maintain documentation of ergonomic assessments, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay current with ergonomic standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, ANSI).
- Assist in the development and review of safety policies related to ergonomics. Support incident investigations related to musculoskeletal disorders and ability to recommend preventative measures.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement regarding ergonomic practices.
- Assists in development and implementation of quality procedures, work instructions and standards.
- Understands Magna Mirrors Holland’s quality policy and assures compliance with ISO/IATF systems.
- Responsible for setting up and conducting regular monthly Ergonomics Committee Meetings.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) with demonstrated understanding of Ergonomics; or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with computerized application software.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with internal and external contacts when performing job duties.
- Analytical skills to identify ergonomic risks and develop effective solutions
- Strong knowledge of ergonomic principles, standards, and best practices Ability to perform ergonomic assessments and utilize ergonomic evaluation tools.
- Excellent communication skills for training and collaborating with diverse teams
