This position is a Safety Data Analyst Intern to join our team and provide essential support in safety-oriented data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation. As an intern, most of your work will consist of working within the EHS Incident Management System (Intelex). You will assist in working with the Intelex system, helping with data cleaning, report generation, and ensuring the smooth operation of both mobile and web applications. This position provides valuable experience in data analytics and system management, with an opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Dashboard & Report Creation in Intelex:

Support the creation of dashboards and reports within Intelex.

Learn and adapt to Intelex’s reporting and dashboard building system (support will be provided to avoid spending excessive time on system learning).

Intelex System Functionality:

Ensure the smooth operation of both mobile and web applications, identifying and addressing any issues.

Data Collection & Cleaning:
-
Assist in gathering data from various sources, such as hours worked, location structure, and more.

Clean and resolve inconsistencies in the collected data to ensure accuracy in reporting.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
-
Analyze data in accordance with OSHA, government regulations, and other requirements.

Create reports within Intelex to support business needs and meet global reporting standards.

Collaborate with the team to build dashboards that help visualize data trends and support business decisions.

Intelex Module Support:

Assist with location structure, hours worked structure, and inspections & audits modules within Intelex.

Provide reports and dashboards for these modules to support business and operational needs.

Intelex Support:

Participate in Intelex training sessions to improve knowledge of the system.

Assist with the creation and maintenance of Intelex support documents.

Help troubleshoot and implement fixes for any Intelex-related issues.

What We're Looking For

Basic understanding of data analysis tools and programming languages.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as Excel and familiarity with data manipulation.

Strong ability to analyze and interpret data trends.

Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.

Strong communication skills.

Willingness to learn new systems, specifically Intelex, and a proactive attitude towards gaining new skills.

Pay Range
$12.85 - $23.86 per hour
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.

Depending on the nature of your role, you may be required to register with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
