- Preferred: International Risk Management and/or Business continuity certification; Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
- Six Sigma or Lean Management certifications related to safety process improvement.
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) or Process Safety
Management (PSM) certifications.
5. Skills and Competencies:
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term safety strategies aligned with business objectives based on trends analysis and forecasts.
• Risk Management: Strong capabilities in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with the EVP and other senior leadership, as well as effectively coordinate with admin areas.
• Compliance Expertise: Thorough understanding of local and international safety regulations and standards, particularly in the Middle East and gas industry.
• Microsoft & Other Skills: Ability to develop presentations that well designed and descriptive for a highlevel management. (PowerPoint); Ability to use spreadsheets and incorporating formulas to further analyze raw data and produce summarized overviews. (Excel) Ability to write short and long reports, depending on the level of the recipients. This should include the ability to write details and summaries. (Word)
