The Role
The Role 

We’re looking for a driven professional to help strengthen our safeguarding framework and protect client assets. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, and turn complex rules into clear, practical solutions. If you have experience in safeguarding, compliance, or client asset management within a regulated environment, and enjoy making an impact, this is an exciting opportunity to grow and contribute.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the safeguarding oversight and control framework.
  • Support the review and sign-off of daily safeguarding reconciliations.
  • Assist with the transition of UK safeguarding requirements into the CASS 15 regime.
  • Possess a strong understanding of operational risk and regulatory compliance in regard to client assets.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external audit and other external reviews.
  • Undertake first-line reviews of business processes that interact with the safeguarding regime.
  • Support the Safeguarding SME with internal projects, business, and product change initiatives.
  • Provide BAU weekly updates, monthly account reconciliations, and communication with key stakeholders on safeguarding matters.
  • Support with development with risk and control mapping documentation with regard to regulatory change requirements. 
What are we looking for
  • 3-5 years experience working directly in either a regulated Payments / e-money firm or within compliance external audit
  • Good understanding of FCA/ ACPR safeguarding requirements or client money rules
  • Understanding of operational process, client money reconciliation
  • Experience liaising with external auditors, communicating with regulators 
  • Proficiency in regulatory reporting 
  • Providing support with identifying and providing training and guidance to internal teams on safeguarding requirement
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions such as Compliance, Product and Legal
