Position Description
The Account Executive is responsible for one of two customer segments: sales to suppliers or sales to independent businesses. These two sectors are a major focus of LBMX and are expected to be the fastest growing part of the business over the next number of years. These customer sectors are in addition to our sales focus on buying groups and purchasing cooperatives.
The Account Executive will be responsible for the sale of LBMX technology products such as PIM (Product Information Management), eCommerce Solutions and B2B Integration services to one of these customer segments.
The role will primarily be an inside sales role with potential for some travel to industry or group conferences. The Account Executive will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the solution but will be supported by Solutions Engineers from a technical sales perspective.
This is an on-site position at our London, Ontario, office. Must be able to legally work within Canada.

What You Will Do
- Develop a proactive outreach to customers and prospects (most will be part of group supply chains with an established relationship to LBMX)
- Arrange / participate / manage sales calls with prospects and customers, to understand potential opportunities for LBMX products, question for understanding and recommend appropriate solutions
- Develop proposals / presentations on account situations as required
- Develop larger scale campaigns to address multiple opportunities in an industry sector
- Use webinars and other methods to expand messaging / reach
- Maintain, develop, and enhance customer relationships
- Consistently update Salesforce on all communications and process completion
- Work with the Sales Administration team to ensure all contract and process work is completed correctly
- Complete all staff work as required by management: sales reports, forecasts, sales meetings.
- Work with marketing to ensure consistent messaging in presentations, reports etc.
- Work to add more opportunities through research and general lead generation
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- A university degree or college diploma
- One to two years sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint
- An independent problem solver with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects
- Strong verbal skills and ability to develop a rapport with people over the phone
- Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000, based on experience and qualifications
