    Through student employment in Student Affairs, a student employee will maintain and balance an acceptable level of academic standing and positive personal growth, while developing transferable skills, including professionalism, leadership, inter-cultural awareness, and interpersonal development.

• Currently enrolled student at UWS in good academic standing
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of a wide-range of sports or willingness to learn
• Experience in program planning
• Officiating Experience

• CPR/AED-Adult & First Aid certifications
• Bloodborne Pathogen Training to Level: 2A

• Schedule all leagues and tournament games
• Schedule, manage, develop, and evaluate intramural officials
• Assist in the development and implementation of intramural officials trainings
• Organize and attend all officials trainings and clinics
• Oversee Campus Recreation facilities during and after intramural events
• Oversee the set up and take down of intramural or special events
• Communicate effectively with all staff members
• Provide disciplinary action to intramural officials and/or participants as necessary
• Conduct and supervise captain’s meetings
• Actively recruit participants
• Complete all necessary forms and paperwork
• Attend all required meetings
• Other duties as assigned

• 10-20 hours per week
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
