Good to have Skills: SAP Integration, Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, Docker, Cloud Security Basics

Job Summary:

As a Core Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security. You will work on cloud-native deployments, container orchestration, and API-driven integrations. Additional exposure to SAP systems and modern frameworks will be an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using best practices in OOP and design patterns.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with FastAPI services where required.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Azure; ensure scalability and cost optimization.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Ensure security compliance and implement MFA/SSO where applicable.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and automation for faster releases.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Work on integration points with SAP systems when needed.

Professional and Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML processing
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
• Familiarity with FastAPI or similar frameworks for API development

Good to Have Skills:

• SAP integration knowledge
• Microservices architecture and Spring Boot
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Docker for containerization
• Basic understanding of cloud security and MFA

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable Java applications and deploying them on cloud platforms. Exposure to containerization, orchestration, and modern API frameworks is highly desirable. Knowledge of SAP integration will be considered a strong plus.
