As part of our strategic expansion, we are enhancing our DeFi capabilities, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Rust Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating cutting-edge decentralised exchange (DEX) technologies into our order management system (OMS).

You will

Design, develop and maintain the backend services for integration between our trading system and various decentralised exchanges (DEXes) on various blockchains (Solana, Bera, Avalanche, Hyperliquid and others in the future), written in Rust
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities
Optimise existing systems for scalability and performance
Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and reliability
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advancements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space

About you:

3+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Rust programming with a solid understanding of its ecosystems
Experience with blockchain technology (prior experience with Solana blockchain being a strong plus)
Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English
Understanding of decentralised exchanges (DEX) and their offer compared to traditional financial systems
Interest in cryptocurrencies and the broader digital assets market
Previous experience in developing DeFi applications
Prior experience with other programming languages, such as Scala or Python
