We’re looking for a Rust Software Engineer to help build and scale the backend systems powering Helius’ developer platform. You’ll work on distributed, high-performance infrastructure that supports millions of blockchain transactions and helps shape how developers build on Solana.

This role is ideal for someone with Rust experience who’s eager to grow, work on challenging problems, and gain exposure to both blockchain technology and high-scale backend engineering.

• Build and maintain backend services in Rust, focusing on scalability and performance.

• Integrate new features into existing infrastructure with support from senior engineers.

• Debug, profile, and tune performance in high-scale production environments.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and frontend teams to integrate features and unblock development.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team technical discussions.

• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and security best practices for the systems you own.

• Learn and grow your Rust expertise through hands-on experience and mentorship.

• Proficiency in Rust is required.

• 2+ years building or maintaining production systems.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and database fundamentals.

• Ability to work autonomously, move fast, and deliver high-quality code.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Bonus: Web3 or blockchain experience or familiarity with Solana.
