Role Summary:
Provides process, materials, and/or equipment engineering support to manufacturing operations to maintain production performance or restore process capability. Provides support for day-to-day operations within the established capability of the asset. Leads operations teams in root cause analysis and problem solving. Provides technical expertise and direction to improve our competitive advantage for one or more technology areas. Drives improvement programs using existing and new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily process, materials, and equipment engineering support for ACST Cleans and Slurry operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Provide off-hour support for urgent operational issues when required.
- Monitor process performance, conduct SPC reviews, analyze production data, and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Prepare and review batch records, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support MOC activities, lead production-related quality investigations, corrective actions, customer audits, and internal audits.
- Drive process improvements, new equipment and raw material qualifications, product transfers, trial production, pre-mass production gate reviews, and production ramp-up activities.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, project teams, and regional engineering resources.
- Support continuous improvement and small capital projects while serving as backup engineering support across ACST operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, semiconductor materials, or related industries.
- Knowledge of process safety, quality systems, manufacturing processes, statistical process control (SPC), and Management of Change (MOC).
- Strong problem-solving, data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Good English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Be able to lead technical discussions and meetings in English with global teams. CET-6, or equivalent proficiency preferred
