Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle (procurement to disposal) and ensure all assets are accurately maintained in the asset repository
Maintain complete asset records including purchase, lease, warranty, and maintenance details
Ensure high data accuracy and completeness (AAC) through regular reconciliation across multiple data sources
Monitor and manage stock levels, including analysis for procurement, redeployment, and disposal
Track asset movements across users, locations, and stockrooms to ensure optimal utilization
Generate hardware asset reports (inventory, utilization, lifecycle, stock status) and support monthly billing (ON/OFF reporting)
Validate billing data and resolve discrepancies with finance and stakeholders
Ensure all assets are covered under valid warranty and maintenance contracts and support audit compliance
Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, field services, infrastructure, finance) and vendors
Ensure SLA adherence for asset-related service requests (IMACD)
Participate in governance discussions and ensure SOW deliverables are met
Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and asset efficiency initiatives
Support incident, problem, and change management related to hardware assets
Mentor team members and ensure adherence to asset management processes
Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall experience with 3–5 years in Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Strong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle management
Experience with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
Strong analytical and data reconciliation capabilities
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
IAITAM certifications (CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM)
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience in enterprise/global asset management environments
