RQ11557 - Software Developer- Front End - Senior

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  
• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations

• Proficiency with ESRI-based application builders, including:

• Experience integrating workflows and external services into map viewers
  
• Familiarity with user roles, permissions, and application deployment within the ESRI ecosystem
  

• Experience consuming and interpreting GIS services using:

• Strong skills in web technologies including:

• Experience developing and designing intuitive, simple-to-use interfaces
  
• Experience developing and coding web UI components that are compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and WCAG 2.0 Level AA
  

• Experience working with the Ontario Public Service (OPS) or broader public sector, with a demonstrated track record of delivering value in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
