Administers and optimizes SQL Server databases across on-premises and Azure environments, including design, migration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, monitoring, and capacity planning. Supports Microsoft Dynamics GP and finance systems, Salesforce CRM, reporting tools, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, websites, SaaS applications, and integrations. Configures Azure migration projects, VM infrastructure, networking, security, and Defender baselines while collaborating with finance and support teams.

- Experience with supporting Public Websites that use Content Management Solutions built on the Microsoft development stack (Umbraco etc) and integrating third party software API’s with Microsoft web applications and technologies.
- Confirm target VM sizing and disk configuration.
- Configure migration project and replication prerequisites.
- Prepare target network/security settings for migrated VMs.
- Prepare backup, monitoring, and Defender baseline plan for migrated workloads.
Responsibilities
- Creates physical database designs and operates and administers the database management system (DBMS) including database optimization, capacity planning, installation and migration, database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
- Manages day to day operation of Microsoft Dynamics GP and works with finance team
- Note: this role can be extended based on the performance for next 6 months/1 year
