1. Job Summary:
ROCKWOOL achieves a competitive advantage through our Operational Excellence program (ROPEX). The ROPEX Lead is at the forefront, driving continuous improvement through setting the agenda and targets for ROPEX at the country level. As our ROPEX lead you set strategic planning to execution of Kaizen events and improvement initiatives, then follow-up on implementation and results. It is key to the role of The ROPEX Lead, to ensure a continuous development of the ROPEX maturity level by building a strong continuous improvement culture at the factory as well as realizing tangible business results. Factory ROPEX manager will be working closely together with the Regional Operational Excellence manager and be part of a global community for Operational Excellence.
2. Key Responsibilities:
· As the ROPEX Lead you owns and improves the standards that will be implemented throughout the value streams or areas/teams within the plant.
· Responsible for driving, managing, and developing the ROPEX program in the plant to gain tangible business results and improvements in areas such as Productivity, Production Output, Customer satisfaction, Quality and Safety.
· Facilitate the annual strategy and policy deployment process in the management team
· Implement standardized Group ROPEX processes as well as facilitate the deployment of ROPEX fundamentals in the plant.
· Establish and develop Lean Leadership and OBEYA /Performance management as a strong discipline to ensure that the ROPEX culture is well respected and sustained; provide coaching/guidance in Lean Standard Work, Gemba and Obeya.
· Plan and conduct training in ROPEX tools to include planning, facilitating and following up on Kaizen events and in systematic root cause and complex problem solving as needed to ensure ROPEX becomes a natural element in the operation
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
· Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and report progress on improvement projects.
· Support change management activities to sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
· Drive cost reduction projects without compromising product quality or safety.
3. Professional Skills and Personal Competencies
Professional Skills - Essential
· Engineer. BE Mechanical / BE Electrical
· Minimum 3-8 years of industrial experience in Operational Excellence in Continuous processing industry with proven success in results and cultural change
Professional Skills – Desirable
· Profound understanding of the Lean toolbox and the Lean principles
· Demonstrated good training, facilitation and coaching skills
· Excellent Communications Skills
· Excellent Presentation Skills

· Industry exposure in mineral wool manufacturing process / Glass Process / Insulation Industry
