We are looking for a highly motivated and talented AI automation intern to support our Customer Escalation Engineering Team. The Customer Escalation team is responsible for analyzing, characterizing, and resolving some of our customer's most complex problems. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and prepare a plan to deploy an automated solution that will determine if customer hardware faults are new or known faults.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the team's processes, workflows, systems, and tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify viable solutions
Experiment with different AI solutions and deploy agreed-upon solution
Define key information from required systems to be automatically queried and/or extracted
Train the AI model and conduct user testing to ensure quality, and relevancy, and eliminate hallucinations
Complete and own meaningful work that allows the overall team to improve efficiency and be successful
This internship is located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio and relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Considering applicants from the greater Mayfield Heights, Ohio area before opening up to other applicants who are willing to pay for their own relocation and summer housing.
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Experience with GitHub, Python, Jira/Jira APIs, and generative AI
Understanding of machine learning frameworks
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
