Magna is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Robotics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with robotics systems and a strong technical background. As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, technical bring-up, and troubleshooting of our AMR Complementary Products, ensuring they interface properly with our AMRs and operate at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and calibrate AMR Complementary Products and systems according to specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in AMR systems.
- Repair and replace defective components and parts as needed.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Document maintenance procedures, repairs, and system performance metrics.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in robotics, automation, or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems in robotics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling.
