About the job
Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.
Join our team to architect and implement advanced automation for a remote lab platform, enabling global engineering teams to interact with and test wearable devices. You will leverage your expertise in robotics integration and system commissioning to deliver robust, user-friendly test workstations that drive reliable hardware validation and streamline global R&D.
Responsibilities- Specify, source, and integrate commercial robots, sensors, actuators, cameras, and custom fixtures to create automated test stations for wearable device testing.
- Program robot motions and coordinate device interaction tasks such as touch-screen tapping, button pressing, and handling device-specific operations.
- Establish calibration routines, contact-force management, safety interlocks, and robust recovery procedures to protect both devices and users.
- Integrate workstations with remote access and automated test infrastructures, facilitating data capture—including video, logs, and device telemetry—during tests.
- Troubleshoot system integration issues, maintain high workstation uptime, document system designs and operations, and support both local and remote engineering users.
- 4–8 years’ hands-on experience delivering operational automation systems, including system-level design, assembly, programming, and commissioning.
- Proven skill integrating commercial robot platforms, advanced motion-control systems, sensors, vision components, and custom tooling/fixtures.
- Strong scripting proficiency (Python or similar) and demonstrated ability to interface with equipment APIs and hardware devices.
- Demonstrated responsibility for end-to-end delivery, encompassing equipment selection, system integration, and acceptance testing.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and produce clear, maintainable technical documentation in English.
- Experience at a robotics systems integrator or in customer-facing automation delivery roles.
- Background in automated testing of consumer electronics or wearable devices with delicate contact requirements.
- Familiarity with remote lab paradigms, Linux environments, Android device testing (including ADB), Jenkins pipelines, and hardware-in-the-loop validation setups.
