The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Develop robotics software for laboratory environments, integrating motion planning, perception, and deployment on physical hardware.
What you'll do
- Build motion planning and trajectory optimization for robotic manipulators.
- Integrate and debug software in simulation and on physical robots.
- Use computer vision to interact with laboratory equipment and materials.
- Work with scientists to understand operational needs and deploy solutions.
- Improve platform simplicity, robustness, and scalability.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 1 to 8 years of relevant robotics software engineering experience.
- Experience deploying software to physical robot hardware.
- Professional Python proficiency.
- Knowledge of motion planning, optimization, kinematics, dynamics, or control.
- A degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Bonus points
- Robotic manipulation, laboratory automation, or manufacturing robotics experience.
- MuJoCo or PyBullet simulation experience.

- Base salary: USD 148,000 to 230,000 per year.

- Five days per week onsite in San Francisco.
