We are seeking a candidate with an MSc or PhD in Robotics (or equivalent experience) or a Computer Science degree with a strong background in multi-sensor design and integration. You need good knowledge and experience with programming in C/C++ and Python while also understanding that you are working with active hardware.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality code for robot execution and will be able to effectively communicate with software developers and roboticists in other teams to speed up the development of high-quality software.

Role and responsibilities:

• Sensor component performance testing and verification, robot sensor fusion, and system simulation verification.

• Integrated design and design verification of robot sensor system: from signal access at the MCU level, time synchronization, correction, up to error assessment.

• Assuring that signals are processed correctly and finally communicated to the IPC through the real-time OS.

• Sensors' specifications and performance verification, including 2D/3D camera, IR, Lidar, ultrasonic, IMU, etc.

• Planing of perception verification methods and test plans.

• Measuring and analyzing sensors' performance, developing control algorithms as sensors' performance input reference, software simulation and adjustment of sensors' parameters.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with C/C++ and Python.

• Familiarity with the principles and techniques of data statistical analysis and with the performance of various sensors and measurement principles.

• Experience in using Linux and ROS development platforms is preferred.

• Understanding the working principles and functions of robot systems and sensors, and experience in robot sensor application development is preferred.

• Very good in English.

Skills Required

MSc or PhD in Robotics or equivalent experience, or Computer Science degree with strong multi-sensor design background
Experience programming in C and C++
Experience programming in Python
Familiarity with data statistical analysis and sensor measurement principles
Experience with MCU-level signal access, time synchronization, and real-time OS integration (IPC communication)
