In this position, the candidate will:
- Support project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct engineering analysis and design for assigned projects.
- Design complete projects or components of a project, and prepare complete project documents.
- Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria to support project execution.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- May assign work to junior engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.
- May be involved in the mentorship and development of junior level staff.
- May perform other duties associated with this role.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 4+ years of experience in this discipline (Candidates with higher levels of experience are welcome to apply)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work well individually or as part of a team are essential
