Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching and educates patients, family or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care. Nursing Care is provided to patients of all ages. Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel.
Prefer experience to occasionally work as Charge Nurse. This position will rotate into Labor and Delivery as well.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Texas License.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring preferred.
- Basic EKG course preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
