Summary:

Provides compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients using the nursing process. Prioritizes and coordinates patient care efficiently, utilizing available resources and evidence-based standards to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during each shift.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Days (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients and their families.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage patient care.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and ongoing care needs.

  • Serve as a clinical resource by communicating effectively, supporting team members, and ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

  • 2 Years pediatrics experience preferred
