Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient. Plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching and educates patients, family or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care. Nursing Care is provided to patients of all ages. Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Texas License.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring preferred.
- Basic EKG course preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure.

Childress Regional Medical Center is a 39-bed acute care hospital and full-service rural healthcare facility located in the southeast corner of the Texas panhandle. Operated by a county hospital district and governed by an elected board of directors, it provides a wide range of medical services, including surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and emergency care as a Level IV Trauma Center.
