We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA / Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and maintaining automated tests for APIs and user interfaces. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in validating essential workflows such as purchase orders and task time tracking, integrating these tests into our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Responsibilities- Develop automated tests for APIs and UIs to validate critical flows like POs and task time tracking.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates that fail builds on critical failures.
- Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and reliability.
- Focus on efficient, maintainable automation to speed up releases without compromising quality.
- Proficiency with Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript for end-to-end UI automation, creating robust, cross-browser tests that validate key workflows and integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Newman, or similar, including automated execution and CI/CD integration.
- Knowledge of CI gating to enforce build failures on critical test issues.
