The Opportunity
As a Risk & Regulatory- Government Contract Consulting- Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to effectively manage risks. Within our Risk & Regulatory practice, you will provide strategic advice and solutions to clients, confirming they maintain regulatory compliance and manage risks efficiently. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage your growing business knowledge to identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. In this role, you will take ownership of projects, from planning to completion, and collaborate with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables. You will also embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. Responsibilities
- Leading client engagements in risk and compliance, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk management
- Developing and implementing strategies to navigate complex regulatory landscapes for clients
- Managing and enhancing internal controls to effectively mitigate risks
- Guiding teams in the execution of compliance program implementations and controls testing
- Conducting risk analysis and governance reviews to identify potential areas of improvement
- Facilitating group discussions and workshops to promote understanding of compliance frameworks
- Overseeing the preparation and delivery of C-Level presentations on risk management strategies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive finance transformation and operating effectiveness
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify linkages and interactions within complex systems
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Project/Technology Management
- Demonstrating experience with FAR, CAS, government cost principles, and grant compliance requirements, including 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and single audit reporting, to develop and recommend solutions for government contractors
- Demonstrating proficiency in regulatory compliance consulting and risk governance
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance business performance management
- Excelling in compliance program implementation and policy reviews
- Leading internal audit and controls testing initiatives
- Facilitating group discussions and strategic questioning for decision-making
- Embracing change and innovation in client support environments
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
