- Overseeing and producing daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly risk reporting, presentations, and executive dashboards.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and disclosures, liaison with auditors and compliance.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives (AI, VBA, SQL, Python/R);
Experience and Qualifications
- 10+ years in risk operations/market risk/credit risk; 3-5 years managing teams
- Degree in finance, Computer Science, Math, or related (Master's/FRM/CFA preferred);
- Advanced Excel/VBA, SQL, RDBMS; experience with Python/R, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot
- Technically proficient in Equity and Liquidity Risk; VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis.
- Excellent communication; translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluent Japanese and English speaker (English will be the primary business language)
