Risk Manager

The Risk & Insurance Manager must have a strategic vision of the risks to which the Group is exposed from the employees, reputation and stakeholder interests all the way down to customers. To this end, he/she develops all the means available for risk management within the Group and adapts them to the business framework (risk mapping, incident database, construction of scenarios, etc.). It supports the organization in its decision-making by focusing on risks and opportunities. He/she is the owner of the Risk Management system, that he/she leads and deploy. 
The Risk & Insurance Manager must also master the insurance topics for the full Group not only with the Euroapi internal teams but also representing the Group with external service providers (broker, insurers, lawyers, loss adjusters…). He/she defines adequate insurance coverage, ensure international coordination, negotiates clauses, manages claims… and supports risk owners to manage their mitigation plans, including the loss prevention program.
His/her role in the organization makes him/her a pillar of business continuity and crisis management.

Main mission #1: Organize risk management at the Corporate level for the entire Group (Finance, IT, HR, Operations, etc.), in particular via risk maps adapted to the needs of the Group 
Main mission #2: Continuously challenge the insurance strategy to ensure effective and adequate risk coverage
Main mission #3: Represent the Group with external parties on the insurance topics
Main mission #4: Support risk management projects within the Group
Main mission #5: Lead the crisis management system and support business continuity
Main mission #6: Strengthen, lead and train a network of correspondents in charge of reporting information from the field
Main mission #7: Ensure a permanent watch on major risk events, both internal and external
Main mission #8: Conduct mini-training sessions for people likely to face risk events
Main mission #9: Contribute to the drafting of regulatory documents applicable to listed companies (URD)

Education / Experience

• Higher education (BAC + 5) 

• Significant experience of minimum 10 years in risk and insurance management, including claims management

• An experience in the industry is a plus

Technical & Hard skills

• Mastery of French and international regulations

• Expertise in drafting regulatory documents applicable to listed companies (URD, risk factors, etc.)

• Knowledge of French and international insurance principles

• Ability to synthesize information, with good analytical and writing skills

• Ability to communicate with people of all levels, of all nationalities and in front of a large or small audience
