As a Wholesale Credit Loss Forecasting Associate in the Corporate and Investment Bank Stress Testing team, you will analyze wholesale credit loss estimation results for the commercial real estate portfolio and help translate them into clear insights for stakeholders. You will support quarterly allowance and stress testing exercises by communicating key assumptions, drivers, and outcomes. You will collaborate with partners across the firm to strengthen processes, improve reporting, and enhance insight quality. You will help us monitor portfolio risk and respond quickly as market conditions evolve.


Job Responsibilities 

  • Deliver portfolio analytics and reporting to support allowance and stress testing forecasts for commercial real estate exposures
  • Analyze scenario results and key loss drivers across multiple stress scenarios and monitoring cycles
  • Calculate and explain core model behaviors and parameters and how they translate into loss estimates
  • Track risk limit usage in partnership with credit officers and escalate emerging trends as needed
  • Support stress estimates for large transactions by compiling inputs, running analyses, and summarizing results
  • Run ad hoc scenario analysis for senior management based on evolving market conditions
  • Partner with lines of business and teams across risk, finance, model risk, quantitative research, technology, and data to align on assumptions and deliverables
  • Develop a strong understanding of allowance and stress testing estimation processes and apply that knowledge to improve day-to-day execution
  • Improve analytical workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of results
  • Contribute to model enhancements and results platform updates through testing, documentation, and feedback

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in financial services
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate, including common benchmarks, market conditions, and underwriting metrics across property types
  • Analytical skills in financial risk frameworks and portfolio monitoring
  • Ability to work across diverse groups to understand requirements, build alignment, and execute agreed plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics concisely for management audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through in time-sensitive deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Experience with credit loss accounting standards, including Current Expected Credit Loss and International Financial Reporting Standard 9
  • Familiarity with regulatory stress testing frameworks and processes
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau and Python
  • Familiarity with using artificial intelligence tools to support analysis and reporting in a controlled environment
