You will partner with risk managers, technology, and control functions to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality and controls, enhance reporting, and build repeatable analytics—leveraging AI where appropriate—while maintaining sound risk management and governance standards. This role sits within a CIO Market Risk team focused on Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) and related structured products. The team is responsible for overseeing market risk management for the Consumer Community Banking Home Lending Business, with primary focus on residential mortgages origination, securitization and hedging.

- Drive AI adoption in day-to-day risk activities by proposing use cases, piloting solutions, measuring impact, and supporting responsible rollout aligned with governance and control expectations.
- Partner with Market Risk coverage leads to ensure enhanced tools/reporting meet business needs and improve insight quality, timeliness, and consistency.
- Perform targeted risk analytics as needed (e.g., sensitivities, stress/scenario runs, drivers of risk/P&L) to support coverage and validate tooling outputs.
- Collaborate with Technology, Product Control, Middle Office, Operations, and Compliance to remediate data/booking breaks and reduce manual touchpoints.
- Create and maintain documentation (process maps, controls, runbooks, tool assumptions, change logs) to support sustainability and regulatory readiness.
Support stakeholder communication by producing clear materials that explain methodology, outputs, and limitations of tools/automation/AI-enabled processes.
