As a Vice President in the dynamic RM&C Digital Strategy & Enablement team within the Finance & Business Management organization, you will be a key player in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, partnering with senior leaders across Risk Management and Compliance, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Corporate Technology. You will have the opportunity to blend strategy, problem-solving, and collaboration, providing oversight and governance on technology budgets and transformation initiatives. You will monitor ongoing progress on our investments, create transparency to maximize benefits, refine governance frameworks, and enhance detailed technology portfolio and financial reporting. In this role, you will offer leadership and guidance as meaningful narratives are produced around portfolio reporting, helping us drive impactful outcomes across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and enhance the technology investment governance framework, aligning with strategic business objectives and maximizing return on investment.
Drive the annual technology planning and budgeting process in partnership with finance, business, and technology leaders.
Partner with business leads on well-written annual investment details, developing and overseeing a process to review and approve new technology demand throughout the year, and partnering with each business lead to develop business cases during the annual budget.
Manage the technology investment portfolio, including tracking, reporting, and optimizing spend across projects and products to drive transparency and accountability for investment decisions.
Standardize how business benefits and return on investment are defined, handle ad-hoc reporting, lead the connectivity of technology portfolio management systems, and translate complex portfolio data into consumable information for stakeholders.
Serve as a key liaison between technology, finance, and business units to clearly align on investment priority, and effective decision-making regarding technology investments.
Define and implement standardized practices, frameworks, and governance for the product operating model across Risk Management & Compliance, gaining consistency in product ownership, lifecycle management, and performance measurement – based on firmwide guidance.
Establish and monitor KPIs and success metrics for technology investments and product operating model effectiveness; provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Identify and implement best practices for investment governance and product management, driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies.
Demonstrate strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills and an ability to edit and prepare executive level communications.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
At least 5+ years’ experience managing large technology portfolios.
Demonstrate expertise in overseeing budget and resource allocation for technology initiatives.
Lead organizational change initiatives to support new operating models.
Show a proven track record in the analysis, design, and rollout of product operating models.
Establish standards, frameworks, and best practices across multiple business units or functions.
Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across technology, finance, business, and compliance to drive alignment and deliver strategic outcomes.
Apply strong analytical skills to assess complex investment portfolios and identify optimization opportunities.
Develop actionable recommendations for senior leadership based on portfolio analysis.
Exhibit outstanding judgement and decision-making skills in high-impact environments.
Demonstrate advanced problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.
Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
