Join JPMorgan Chase's Risk Management and Compliance team, where your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our strength and resilience. You'll be tasked with anticipating emerging risks and using your judgement to address challenges impacting our company, customers, and communities. As an Associate Business Manager within the Reporting, Middle Office and Controls Business Management team, you will collaborate closely with leaders across various sub-teams to implement essential deliverables and priorities for the organization. You will play a crucial role by providing operational support, analytical expertise, and strategic insights to help achieve key objectives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the management team across strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to navigate in an environment where the path forward may not always be immediately clear.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across multiple locations, managing up when necessary and appreciating the give/take nature of partnership.
  • Develop an effective communication strategy to ensure key information is disseminated to the right parties and deliverables are executed in a timely manner.
  • Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders across various locations and levels.
  • Partner with the management team to execute on strategic and operational deliverables to meet business goals.
  • Prepare management reports for senior management to increase transparency of key initiatives.
  • Lead and manage projects and ad hoc analysis end to end with comprehensive independent execution in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Guide action plan remediation for issues that span the global organization and lead efforts to organize, compile, and present evidence to the Control Manager for closure.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in business management, finance, human resource, or management consulting.
  • A Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently under pressure, prioritize manage multiple tasks, and bring tasks to closure with minimal supervision.
  • A motivated self-starter and a collaborative team player who can excel in a matrix environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and an understanding of how individual tasks contribute to larger objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize information in a clear, accurate, and succinct manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and influence others to drive successful outcomes.
  • Strong technical ability with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
