The Role

The Risk team at Lyft is committed to innovative and evolving insurance solutions to accurately address our exposures. The Risk Analyst role will support the placement of select commercial insurance programs by working with a broad range of teams internally as well as our broker and carrier partners. We are looking for a candidate with understanding of commercial auto insurance that is excited to join a dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the renewal cycle for select insurance programs 
  • Act as an insurance liaison on several programs and support internal teams on basic insurance needs, insurance documentation review and certificate of insurance needs 
  • Maintain relationships with broker and carrier partners
  • Review and negotiate insurance terms in contracts
  • Document and track coverage structures and rates
  • Provide administrative support for insurance programs
  • The work responsibilities of this role are expected to take place based on the PST Time Zone

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in P&C at an insurance carrier, broker or risk management role
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Insurance or a related field
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Balance attention to detail with fast-paced Lyft environment

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $81,000 - $101,250. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
