Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.
Join our innovative team as an RFIC System Engineer, where your expertise will drive the design and simulation of leading-edge RFIC systems. You'll be instrumental in the development and analysis of transceiver lineup model and ensuring optimal performance for new wireless technologies. Your role will emphasize RFIC lineup design and integration with digital systems, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in wireless communication technologies.
Responsibilities- Design and simulate RFIC systems for advanced wireless communication technologies, including 5G/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth transceivers and new architectures.
- Develop and verify block-level specifications to achieve top-tier RFIC transceiver performance metrics by analyzing blocks such as Mixers, Amplifiers, Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs), Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs)
- Construct and evaluate comprehensive end-to-end RFIC system performance models, emphasizing key metrics such as Noise Figure (NF), Input Referred Second-Order Intercept Point (IIP2), Linearity, Transmitter Power (TX power), and Error Vector Magnitude (EVM).
- Perform transceiver lineup analysis spreadsheet development to support system-level tradeoffs and optimization.
- Collaborate closely on RFIC integration with digital systems.
- Analyze and mitigate RFIC impairments, addressing issues such as non-linearity, gain compression, and harmonic distortion.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2-4 years of industry experience, or PhD with 1-3 years.
- Proficiency with SystemVue and MATLAB for RFIC system design and simulation.
- Experience with modeling and analysis of RFIC transceiver systems, with a focus on noise, power, and linearity assessment.
- Experience developing RFIC transceiver performance models and utilizing spreadsheets and other tools for detailed tradeoff analysis.
- Strong understanding of key transceiver metrics including Noise Figure (NF), Input Referred Second-Order Intercept Point (IIP2), Linearity, Transmitter Power (TX power), and Error Vector Magnitude (EVM)
- Strong understanding of RFIC transceiver calibration and its impact on system performance.
- Extensive knowledge of transceiver architectures used in advanced 5G/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth RFICs.
- In-depth understanding of RFIC impairments and effective methodologies for mitigation.
- Familiarity with advanced RFIC system design techniques, including impairment analysis and digital system integration strategies.
- Knowledge of end-to-end communication solution architectures and specs, enabling optimization across RF and digital/DSP systems.
