Join our team as an RF Test Automation Engineer, where you will play a vital role in developing automated scripts and tests to assess the RF performance of cutting-edge wireless solutions. Your expertise in Python programming and RF systems will be crucial in automating control over the Device Under Test (DUT) and lab equipment like the CMW500. You will collaborate closely with RF engineers to define robust test plans and ensure the seamless integration of automated reporting and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python or C# for manufacturing or R&D test station for wireless connectivity in consumer electronics.
- Collaborate with RF engineers to define and implement comprehensive test plans.
- Automate RF testing and control of lab equipment, focusing on technologies like cellular (LTE/5GNR) and connectivity (WiFi/BT/GPS).
- Automate, measure and analyze key RF metrics, including TX Power, EVM, ACLR, Receiver RSSI and Sensitivity.
- Implement automated reporting and data analysis for results obtained from automated tests.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming, with experience in developing wireless test automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of RF and physical later principles and wireless communication systems.
- Experience with RF testing, optimization, and automation at chipset level using chipset supplier's APIs
- Experience with lab test equipment from R&S, Litepoint, or Keysight like the R&S CMW100, Litepoint IQ, and spectrum analyzer and signal generator.
- Familiarity with RF measurement techniques for RF metrics such as EVM, RX sensitivity, and ACPR.
- Mid-level industry experience with a focus on test automation for wireless systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of additional wireless systems beyond 5G NR and Wi-Fi.
- Familiarity with advanced RF test equipment and other automation tools in the field.
- Ability to create complex automated workflows that facilitate extensive RF testing scenarios.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting and validating RF test results.
