About the Role:
Short Range Devices (SRD) are becoming more and more important in the car. Handsfree Call uses Bluetooth, CarPlay and Android Auto are based on WiFi, V2X is key technologies to enable Autonomous Driving and UWB/NFC are the part of Passive Keyless Entry.
As RF expert you are responsible for RF design of reusable blocks, modules, and products with SRD technologies like Bluetooth, WLAN, V2X, UWB and NFC in frequency range up to 9 GHz. Usually, RF part of a SRD design includes host SoC with MAC and RF part as well as LNAs/Low Power PAs/Switches and printed components like traces, filters etc. You closely work with Functional Owners of SRD technologies and cover all phases of the RF design: schematic, layout and simulation as well as measurement.
What You Will Do:
- You lead or participate in benchmark of wireless components for SRD technologies.
- Create schematic and layout.
- RF simulation of layouts as well as RF designs
- Support of Functional Owners and other in RF related topics
- RF measurement like S- Parameters, Load Pull, etc.
- Support of technology related RF measurements
- Support of homologation related measurements
- Co-Working on test system for SRD
What You Need:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or appropriate graduation)
- 5+ years professional experience in the RF design
- Deep knowledge in RF measurement with VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, …
- Basic Knowledge in Short Range Technologies
- Good knowledge in spoken and written English
- Basic knowledge Software (LINUX, , Android) in the automotive environment
- Deep knowledge in RF simulation
