Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless seeks an RF Engineer II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will spearhead the management and oversight of designated sites within the vibrant Atlanta Market, contributing to our wireless deployment initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct RF design and optimization tasks for DISH's standalone 5G network
- Optimize end-to-end RF design for Macro Cell deployment
- Manage equipment configurations and troubleshoot alarms with tiger teams
- Evaluate and select site candidates, conducting site walks as necessary
- Coordinate cell site testing and optimization drive activities
- Collaborate with national RF teams on KPIs, optimization, and audits
- Drive automation and process enhancements, tracking areas for continuous improvement
Skills, Experience and Requirements
As a successful RF Engineer II, you will have:
- BSEE/BSCS degree or equivalent, with 3+ years LTE RF Design experience
- 5+ years in wireless Design/Optimization or Operations roles
- Proficiency in 4G/5G and NR theory and practical experience
- Expertise in macro and small cell RF designs and RF link budgets
- Proficient in LTE design and optimization equipment and software
- Familiarity with common propagation/planning tools
- Experience with drive test data post-processing and interference evaluation
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $136,625.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
