Job DescriptionWe're seeking a talented and driven Automotive Reviews Journalist to join our team, creating captivating news, reviews, and video content that informs and engages a wide audience. This is your chance to test-drive the latest vehicles, interview industry experts, and deliver sharp, insightful analysis on the ever-evolving automotive world.
Day to day you will:
- Research and stay current on the latest automotive news, trends, and technology.
- Write and script high-quality, engaging reviews, news, features, and opinion pieces.
- Present video content, and collaborate with creative teams to enhance your stories.
- Adhere to strict deadlines while pitching creative story ideas to the editorial team.
- Utilise SEO strategies to maximize content visibility and create social media assets to promote your work.
What you'll bring:
- A full driver's license, with the ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Prior experience in journalism, ideally in the automotive sector.
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire to build a career in automotive journalism.
- Exceptional research, fact-checking, and writing skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a basic understanding of SEO.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
