We are seeking Reverse Engineers to join a growing team supporting mission-critical work in Annapolis Junction, MD and San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on analyzing software and firmware to identify vulnerabilities, understand system behavior, and support exploitation and defensive efforts across complex environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct reverse engineering of software and firmware to understand functionality and identify vulnerabilities
- Analyze compiled code, binary artifacts, and system behavior to uncover malicious or exploitable conditions
- Perform static and dynamic binary analysis to assess threats and system weaknesses
- Support development of tools, scripts, and methodologies for vulnerability discovery and exploitation
- Conduct low-level debugging and analysis using assembly and other programming languages
- Contribute to exploitation research and mission-driven technical analysis efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both offensive and defensive cyber operations
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) with coursework in algorithms, computer architecture, programming languages, data structures, logic, and advanced mathematics
- Experience with reverse engineering of software or firmware
- Proficiency in low-level programming, assembly language, and debugging
- Experience with binary analysis, vulnerability analysis, and exploit development
- Experience developing tools or scripts to support analysis or exploitation efforts
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Level Requirements:
Level 2:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years; or Doctoral degree with 2 years; or Associate’s degree with 7 years of clearly related, in-depth experience
Level 3:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or Doctoral degree with 4 years; or Associate’s degree with 10 years of clearly related, in-depth experience
- Experience must include advanced reverse engineering, static and dynamic binary analysis, exploit development, vulnerability analysis, assembly-level debugging, and/or tool development in mission-relevant environments
Level 4:
- Bachelor’s degree with 11 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 9 years; or Doctoral degree with 7 years; or Associate’s degree with 13 years of clearly related, in-depth experience
- Experience must include expert-level reverse engineering, binary and firmware analysis, exploit research, vulnerability discovery, advanced debugging, and/or development of tools supporting complex systems

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
