Description
The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist is responsible for supporting the full revenue cycle process to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing, collections, and reimbursement for clinical services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by performing claim preparation, submission, follow-up, payment posting, denial management, and account resolution activities in accordance with federal, state, payer, and organizational guidelines.
The RCM Specialist works collaboratively with clinical, registration, coding, credentialing, and finance teams to optimize revenue performance, reduce accounts receivable, prevent revenue leakage, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of healthcare billing regulations, payer contracts, and reimbursement methodologies.
Requirements
Associate's degree in business management or related field and 2-5 years comparable work experience.
