Responsible for:
- Review all customer contracts and POs to ensure revenue and billing schedules are entered into Netsuite appropriately
- Prepare revenue recognition assessment for non-standard agreements including, material right, modification, SSP allocation, etc. as well as a summary of the non-standard terms of arrangement along with the revenue recognition implications per ASC 606 guidance for internal management and audit purposes
- Perform month and quarter-end close tasks associated with revenue recognition, including the review of deferred revenue reconciliations, validating deferred revenue, and review/preparation of revenue journal entries for non-standard revenue deals, as required
- Prepare and review quarterly revenue schedules and disclosures for internal and external reporting
- Provide necessary documentation and support during audits to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Meet with customer service and engineering team to determine go live date
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
- Required Experience
- 5+ years experience in Accounting
- Reading and writing knowledge of English
- Experience reading contracts and entering them into an ERP System
- Business or accounting degree required
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue Rules
Preferred Experience:
- Working knowledge of Netsuite, Salesforce and Google Sheets
- Advanced knowledge of ASC 606 and multiple element arrangements
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and attention to details
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, establish appropriate priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with a public, US-based company
