As Revenue Accountant, you'll be a critical part of our finance team, overseeing Accounts Receivable processes including client invoicing, revenue tracking, payment application, and contributing to forecasting efforts. What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Prior experience with complex contract revenue models to include Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associates degree in Accounting ok
• Proficient understanding of revenue recognition in GAAP and revenue recognition methods to include percent complete, straight-line, and time & material revenue models.
• Experience with Deferred Revenue in Project Accounting and able to support project managers during month-end close processes, particularly in managing deferred revenue
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Intacct and Salesforce is a plus

What You’ll Do:

• Record journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, support financial reporting and analysis, and assist with audit prep and compliance.
• Perform a range of routine accounting activities, such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Review, code, and verify transactions and journal entries. Research and resolve issues and exceptions. Complete simple and complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools and assists with trial balances.
• Process a range of new client project setups, create customer invoices, and handle any changes or issues that occur throughout the project. Oversee the processing and verification of invoices and the receipt of payments. Assist in maintaining the client master list and supporting collections follow-up
• Support data collection and compilation to support tax compliance and reporting activities
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of cash transactions; perform weekly cash reconciliations

This range may differ based on your geographic location, cost of living considerations, and individual experience and skill set.
Hiring Range
$70,000—$85,000 USD
