About the role:
Based in our India office, you will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver unparalleled solutions to our clients through exceptional resource management. Your pivotal role will involve redesigning and implementing a cutting-edge resource management strategy that ensures optimal utilization of our resources, directly contributing to our clients' success and satisfaction. In this fast-paced, global role, you will collaborate with remote teams to foster a culture of excellence and efficiency, ensuring that our professional services are second to none.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and own project staffing decisions for a 100+ person global delivery team, balancing resource efficiency, individual career goals, and team composition.
- Build, communicate, enforce, and continuously improve resource forecasting and staffing processes.
- Monitor consultant availability and match it against open resource needs, exceeding utilization targets to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Measure and report on key utilization, demand, and capacity metrics.
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders across the organization regarding staffing assignments, career goals, opportunity progression, and skill requirements.
- Forecast and recommend hiring needs based on demand, and collaborate with the Human Resources team to open requisitions
- Optimize, enhance, and improve resourcing systems to ensure efficient and effective resource management.
- Match appropriate resources to projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
Competencies:
- Typically, 5+ years leading Resource Management at a global Profession Services firm; relevant education/certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with PSA tools, preferably OpenAir.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, global, and remote environments.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic planning and resource management implementation.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Technical proficiency and ability to learn new tools.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Leadership and continuous improvement motivation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in planning/reporting.
- Multitasking capabilities for managing multiple projects.
