Job DescriptionIDS is seeking a Resource Management Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, execution, and defense acquisition reporting across complex government programs. This role supports senior leadership by preparing programmatic financial documentation, analyzing resource requirements, managing multi-year budget planning cycles, and supporting PPBE and POM development. The Resource Management Analyst ensures accurate, timely financial data and contributes to strategic resource decision-making.
Key Duties• Support planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) processes, including documentation, tracking, and reporting.
• Assist in developing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs, resource justification materials, and financial execution reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to support program funding strategies, cost projections, and resource prioritization.
• Prepare acquisition-related documentation, resource reports, and metrics for leadership review.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data, analyze requirements, and support informed financial decisions.
• Maintain accurate financial records, audit support documentation, and program budget tracking tools.
• Identify funding issues, risks, and mitigation options to support program continuity.
• Assist with multi-year budget planning, forecasting, and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in:
• Defense acquisition guidance and reporting; or
• Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) management; or
• Program Objective Memorandum (POM) preparation.
• SECRET clearance required.
