About the Role
The Global Manager, Resource Allocation will lead the strategic, future-looking analysis of how AB InBev should deploy sales and marketing resources across the company and its markets. This role sits at the intersection of Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. You will connect investment data with brand and market potential, business performance, consumer and customer priorities, and effectiveness evidence. You will then build allocation options, make clear recommendations for company growth, and align global and market leaders around the path forward.
What You'll Do
- Lead Global Resource Allocation Strategy
- Own the end-to-end strategic analysis of how sales and marketing resources should be allocated across the company, markets, brands, channels, and capabilities.
- Translate company strategy and growth priorities into allocation principles, decision criteria, and analytical questions.
- Identify structural choices, areas of over- and under-investment, and opportunities to redirect resources toward the highest-value priorities.
- Develop forward-looking scenarios that quantify the trade-offs, funding sources, expected outcomes, and risks of alternative allocation choices within and across markets.
- Partner with global and local leaders to develop recommendations on how to shift investments to drive company growth.
- Translate the strategy into prioritized actions and decision points, track implementation and impact, and build repeatable tools that improve future allocation cycles.
- Work closely with Marketing Finance to ensure the data is complete, accurate, comparable across markets, and fit for the strategic decisions it needs to support.
What You'll Need
- Experience in corporate or commercial strategy, strategic planning, resource allocation, marketing effectiveness, sales or marketing analytics, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading complex strategic analyses from problem definition through recommendation and senior leadership alignment.
- Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of how sales and marketing investments drive brand, customer, consumer, and business outcomes.
- Advanced problem-structuring and analytical skills, including scenario development, trade-off evaluation, and forming a clear point of view from imperfect data.
- Ability to review and challenge financial and investment data, identify inconsistencies, and work with Finance to create a reliable basis for strategic decisions.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear choices and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and project leadership, with experience aligning regions, markets, and functions and moving teams from analysis to action without direct authority.
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with business intelligence tools, scenario modeling, think cell, or other analytical tools is preferred.
- Experience at a large company and/or consumer packaged goods organization are preferred.
- Fluency in English required.
