InterVision Company is seeking a position on the Resiliency Team as a Resiliency Engineer who is responsible for resolving Tier 3 level client issues and providing high quality managed services for InterVision clients. They will assist in designing, troubleshooting, and remediating resiliency technical issues. The hours for this position are 9pm - 8am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • B.S. degree preferred and/or AWS, Azure, Veeam, and other relevant technical certifications
  • Experience with disaster recovery and backup technologies: Veeam, Zerto, and CommVault
  • Knowledge of VMware, including vCloud and vSphere
  • 3+ years experience in IT/Support
  • Experience within Azure and/or AWS
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting of complex technical problems when information is limited
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients including written skills; provides clear and timely written and verbal updates (including technical details)
  • Able to assess and document needs and issues
  • Able to lead discussions with customers to achieve win/win results
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and escalate issues as needed
  • Time management - can work independently
  • Able to handle a wide range of customer situations effectively leading customers to best solutions
  • Perform various troubleshooting methods to track down complex technical problems

Some of the exciting work you will encounter:

  • Deploy, update and troubleshoot BaaS and DRaaS
  • Configure and troubleshoot Veeam backup solutions within hosted vCloud environment, as well as AWS and Azure
  • Configure and troubleshoot Zerto DRaaS solutions, within a hosted environment, as well as AWS and Azure
  • Perform Zerto Disaster recovery tests, as well as manage a Zerto environment
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, licensing, and reporting of new virtual server environments, technology, or tools as well as education/training of users and smooth hand-off.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VPN solutions such as site to site VPN, SSL VPN.
  • Work with cross functional personnel to identify and define new product possibilities. Create test plans as appropriate, coordinate and/or perform new product testing.
  • Troubleshoot escalated intermediate to advanced technical issues initiated by clients (Tier 3). Reproduce complex problems in lab environment; investigate, have logs reviewed. Engage vendors and technical staff from the client as needed.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on networks and network components.
  • Analyze various aspects of a client's technical environment or managed services and identify additional managed services. Synthesize findings and make recommendations.
  • Research and investigate emerging technologies.
  • Lead or participate in cross functional projects such as working with product cycle teams to roll out new functionality
  • Review and approve technical documentation.
