Full-time (40 hours, 5 days) Research Scientist - Infrastructure and Apps (EV) is needed in Santa Clara, CA office to
Research and construct data models to cover different production and operation aspects of IoT edge devices (e.g. electric vehicle charging stations).
Design advanced algorithms and provide in-depth analysis to monitor the lifecycle of devices, enabling early detection of potential malfunctions, comprehensive assessment of performance and other not well-defined aspects.
Build and evaluate data infrastructure and pipelines required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources.
Build and evaluate analytics tools that utilize the data pipelines to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
Resolve data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Position requires Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related field; with minimum of 18 months’ data analysis and infrastructure experience in IoT device industry with all of the following: conduct computational analysis on intricate datasets; design and implement robust data pipelines and architectures; develop visualizations and reports with insights; program and develop software for IoT device provisioning; and proficiency in Python, JS, SQL, NoSQL Database, AWS, Github.
