As an Associate Director/Research Manager at Ipsos, , you will play a key role in leading and delivering high-quality research projects for our clients in the Transport, Hospitality and Leisure sectors.
The Associate Director/ Research Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional research solutions to our clients. As a strategic thinker and client champion, you will lead research projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that address client objectives and drive business impact.
You will leverage your expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and project management to guide project teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
This role can be offered at the Associate Director or Research Manager level depending on experience and is a hybrid role with 3 days in our London office and the rest from home.
Day to day
These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation , this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- Client Management: You will be the main point of contact for clients on projects, building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met
- Project Leadership: You will be responsible for overseeing project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed specifications
- Financial Management: You will proactively manage project finances, ensuring profitability by putting together accurate costings and monitoring project budgets.
- You will also contribute to revenue generation by writing proposals and developing client accounts
- Quality Control: You will review and ensure the quality of all project materials and deliverables, including questionnaires, discussion guides, reports, and presentations
- Business Development: You will contribute to business development by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing existing client accounts
- People Management: You will take an active role in managing and guiding junior members of the team
About You
Essential criteria
- Experience managing quantitative tracking studies from set-up through to reporting
- Strong understanding of quantitative research methodologies and tracker design
- Experience designing surveys and questionnaires for ongoing trackers
- Ability to analyse trend data and turn findings into clear insights
- Confident presenting results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
