The Role
Conduct talent mapping, market and competitive research for executive recruiting engagements. Partner with recruiters and clients to develop search strategies, identify high-quality candidates, troubleshoot difficult assignments, prepare status reports, build industry knowledge, and uncover hidden talent through creative research methods. The role also contributes to business development by researching market opportunities and is expected to develop expertise in legal, compliance, and policy talent markets.

The Research Consultant will be involved throughout the entire value chain of the search process, working
in conjunction with recruiters throughout the kick-off, strategy, and execution of search engagements to
bring each search to successful completion.
This is an integral role that is the backbone of a successful recruiting team. The primary functions of the
Research Consultant are to identify high quality and potential candidates for critical assignments, to partner
and collaborate with recruiters, to build intellectual capital, and keep up-to-date with key market trends and
competitive intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
❏Delivering high-impact Talent mapping and market research in a fast-paced and highly dynamic
environment.
❏ Partnering with recruiters to execute talent needs and calibrate deliverables for mission-critical and
hard-to-fill positions.
❏ Ability to listen and understand the goals of the Client and create a robust search strategy.
❏ Troubleshooting, problem-solving and providing possible solutions for challenging assignments.
❏ Preparing/contributing to search status reports and Talent Mapping.
❏ Continually contributing to the knowledge base of the group, sharing new information about
industries and talent pools or profile types.
❏ Becoming an expert in the legal, compliance and policy space; demonstrating the ability to advise
and consult.
❏ Proposing creative ideas and innovative research techniques to uncover hidden talent.
❏ Business Development - identifying new clients and enabling business growth; proposing techniques
for researching market opportunities.
Requirements:
The Research Consultant will have experience in analytical or information research-related roles.
❏ Should be an out-of-box and creative thinker with a strong focus on problem-solving.
❏ Should also be motivated by an intellectually stimulating recruitment environment with the desire to
identify the best talent.
❏ Combination of knowledge across multiple competencies, including: Talent Acquisition,
Consulting/Professional Services, and Research is preferred.
❏ Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
❏ Strong focus on ownership and execution with the ability to persevere when faced with a challenge.
❏ Experience in Talent mapping and competitive talent report is ideal.
❏ A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
