Research Consultant III

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading projects (internal/external) and ensuring quality and accuracy in research solutions.
• Accountable for research scoping, defining methodologies, conducting detailed research and analysis, and preparing well-structured research reports.
• An individual contributor with capability to handle and own end to end activities in a project.
• A prominent member in the research brainstorming process to validate and structure research findings.
• Maintain regular communication with the Research Lead and provide regular updates on project status. Also, work closely with the Research Lead on GTM initiatives.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Valorem solutions, partners, competitors, and the market landscape.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and project retrospectives regularly.
• Identify improvements in research processes and day-to-day team activities

Placement Criteria & Requirements

• Deep understanding of both secondary and primary research methodologies.
• Minimum 7 years of core expertise in conducting technology research, market studies, competitive intelligence, benchmarking studies, vendor analysis, product research, value chain analysis, formulation of strategic roadmaps, and proof of concepts.
• Demonstrates good knowledge of disruptive technologies, their use cases, emerging solutions, and new business models.
• Capable of transforming large, complex datasets into structured, comprehensible reports.
• Deep understanding of technology industry Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
• Skilled in preparing Thought Leadership (TL) papers and White Papers.
• Proficient in M365 applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Exhibits exceptional analytical abilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
• Superior writing composition and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Bachelor of Engineering
• Post graduation in Business will be an added advantage
