Stantec Health Sciences Advisory is seeking exceptional scientists with undergraduate and graduate degrees and training in epidemiology, environmental health sciences, occupational health, risk assessment and public health. This role requires in-person office attendance in Pittsburgh, PA.
Research Associates will assist on occupational epidemiology and human health risk assessment projects in summer 2026. Research associates will gain valuable insight into the world of scientific consulting. Successful candidates will play an integral role in providing creative and scientifically rigorous approaches to answering questions about human health.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with epidemiological study design and implementation
- Review and digitization of physical copies of employment records
- Critically evaluating and summarizing the scientific literature
- Perform independent analyses and work on multidisciplinary teams with experts in epidemiology, risk assessment, toxicology, and industrial hygiene
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Training in toxicology, environmental health sciences, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, computational sciences, or public health
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
